Teapot

These elegant, hand-built teapots are an ode to the humble yet classic form that transcends cultures. Accomodating approx two small cups of tea, both pieces may look similar at a glance but have been approached differently in design.

One has been textured with kurinuki cuts and glazed in an oceanic finish. It is accompanied with a small kurinuki carved tumbler which could be used as a milk pot.

The other has a deeper, earthier finish with its steady brown glaze; but a closer look would reveal flashes of deep blue almost as if light emerges from within a steady centre of being.
